Christian Argumentative Essay Topics
Christian Argumentative Essay TopicsChristian argumentative essay topics fall into three main categories. These are apologetics, history, and theology. For those who want to write a more in depth essay, these three topic areas are enough. The most basic of all these essay topics is the Biblical topic. This is by far the most popular of all. It is also one of the most familiar. Many Christians are very comfortable with this topic because they have come across it many times in their daily lives. That comfort can make a difference when you are writing an essay on it.The second of the Bible topic categories is, obviously, history. History has been used for many years by Evangelicals to write an objective argumentative essay. There are many situations in our society today that could easily be explained as historical in nature. Our involvement in the Iraq War is a good example. The Fall of Rome is another. The way that we treat the poor, the persecution of the religious and even the way that we view infidelity all fall under the category of historical events. There are many different types of these historical essays. For instance, you might be dealing with various ways that we should deal with our religious heritage. You might be dealing with biblical topics like what we believe in Jesus or how we view the Bible. The third of the Bible topic categories are the theological argumentative essay. It is by far the best when dealing with your views on God and life in general. It is also very hard to write a theology based essay without touching on some type of biblical topic at least once. The hardest of all is to find a topic for your essay that is not just written about in the Bible. Some topics are difficult to be written about in an essay, so it is a good idea to base your topic off of a lesson that you already know. You can base it off of the subject of a sermon you have preached or something that has been discussed in Sunday school. That way you know that you will not com e across as a non-Christian or less than the kind of Christian that others assume you are. When you find a topic that you feel you can relate to in an essay, the rest of the essay writing process will not be as much of a struggle. What is the point of writing an essay if you do not like it? The answer to that question is that you are supposed to love what you write. If you love what you write then you will enjoy doing it.
